This week we are featuring Amelia Bryne and her film about economy called "Wealth”. The piece was made in collaboration with Phoebe Sullivan. Amelia is a filmmaker, researcher, and a media theorist.
She says: "Working out from the living rooms and stores of a former factory town fallen on hard times, Wealth looks at objects, and at small town America. With this backdrop of apparent economic decline, the film sets the stage for a revelatory portrait exploring American material abundance; the things that fill our store shelves and closets, backyards and dumpsters."
